Hey, a new T-shirt idea for you. It's long been said There are only two types of chronograph onwers: Those who have already shot their chronograph, and those who haven't shot it YET.

Now that's what I was thinking. I'm all for learning, but I hate the expensive lessons. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. New PC interface lets you download your ballistic data from the chronograph to your computer and upload new bullets from your computer to your chronograph. Built in alpha-numeric printer provides you with a complete and legible permanent record of your bullet and ballistic data at no extra charge.

Complete statistical analysis of your velocity data allows you to tune your loads to perfection. Average Velocity, Standard Deviation, Average Deviation and Extreme Spread are all available at the touch of a button in real time- without having to interrupt the string.

These numbers are also presented as a percentage of the average velocity so you can be sure you are comparing "apples to apples" when you compare loads for consistency. Built in full-function ballistic computer uses your actual chronograph and bullet data to optimize your zero at the range. Corrects for windage, elevation, and temperature. Tells the shooter where to set their point of impact at yards, for any down range zero dead on at yards for example or where to set your point of impact at yards to achieve Maximum Point Blank Range for your bullet load combination.

Calculates the actual Ballistic Coefficient for any bullet. PACT will take full responsibility for your satisfaction. New sky screen mounting system for faster setup resistance to muzzle blast. I chose it for several reasons. First and foremost, I did not want the equipment in front of my barrel, one sneeze and, well you get the idea.

The Pact has a unit that sits on the bench and the only thing the bullet flies past are the sky screens. Having the unit on the bench also allows readability. It is right there, no squinting, no getting up to go look at it. The Skyscreens are big, and set up, they basically form a V shape that is 12" wide at the top and 14" tall in the center. You can mount them on a board or purchase the accessory bar on which to mount them. The accessory bar can be mounted on a regular photo tri-pod, which makes a pretty handy surface.

At the hundred-yard bench, you can shoot at several different targets and not have to move the screens. The screens are connected to the unit with 2 cables, one for the "Start Screen" and one for the "Stop Screen".

The bar and screens make the system a little cumbersome, so you have to set it up at the range. I have not found an alternative approach yet.

Operation is simple, turn it on, wait a couple of seconds for it to initialize and you're ready to go.
