My 8-year-old really enjoys it because it's interactive and she loves horses. My youngest likes to play it too, but I really wish these games came with verbal instructions instead of having to read them on the screen.

She is just starting to read and gets frustrated when she can't figure something out on her own. These seems to be common for most of the Wii games though. Other than that, they enjoy playing it. My seven year old granddaughter loves to play this game. It teaches her about taking care of her horses just like in real life.

She spends hours taking care and training her horse before competing. She has learned that, although winning is fun, the real fun is in competing. This parallels her real life competition in showing horses and getting them ready for competition. The game is quite realistic in its activities. I wish they changed some points of the game for the WII version. It is still a pretty good game for the animal lover kid in your life.

They will play this game for many hours and give you some peace and quite so it pretty much is worth its price for this reason alone.
