Dmcr windows 8

Did you install it yourself or did it come bundled with some other software? Is it running smoothly or do you get some error message? Any information that will help to document this file is welcome.

Running the game from a batch file allows you to kill Explorer run the game without colour errors and then it restarts you Explorer after you exit Cossacks. I named my file cossacks. It worked like a charm in Windows 7 anyway. Then you will find speed of game settings a bit touchy. Modern computers want to run Cossacks 1 too fast.

Ftoomsh , Jun 21, Oops sorry, above solution is for Cossacks 1 but a similar idea might work for C2. I tried all known fixes and suggestions for Cossacks 2 for over a year on and off. Could not get the game to run on my windows 8. In the end i bought it on Steam along with Back to war and it ran just fine.

Masher , Jun 21, I also tried all of the stuff mentioned here and I think you just can't install the game on windows 8.

I mean first I had problems with the disks' then in the actual installation. Its just too damn old. It fine for me I played a little c2 at my friends house.

Field Marshall , Jun 22, It is even more tricky to run C1 and C2 on ubuntu. All depends on the dedicated graphics and drivers you have.
